Job Summary

Fireservice Disaster Kleenup is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage a crew of construction technicians and/or casual labor, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Site Supervision: Work closely with technicians and labor to ensure that they are following safety protocols and best practices, and that the work site is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the project manager, assistant, and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed of progress, challenges, and any changes to the project scope.
  • Documentation: Accurately document the daily scope of work performed, labor timecards, and billable charges, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure that all technicians and labor are utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following the safety plan, and that the quality of work meets the company's standards.
  • Progress Updates: Provide regular updates to the project manager and assistant on the daily progress of assigned crews.
  • Equipment and Materials: Ensure that all equipment and unused materials are returned to the assigned supply areas, and that the decontamination of equipment is completed upon project completion.
Qualifications and Education
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years of technical school or 2 years of on-the-job experience in a related field.

  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document and record information.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide high-quality service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Driving Requirements: Valid driver's license required.
