Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check-in patients, verifying information and obtaining necessary data
  • Answer multi-line phones and direct calls to the appropriate party or handle caller's needs
  • Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits
  • Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on physician availability
  • Maintain patient records and files stored in our Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and schedule testing for off-site services
  • Provide patients with support and guidance as needed
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems and computer software
