About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at The City of Allen, TX. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our patrons in a clean and friendly atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook special request items for suites and ensure accuracy of all pre-ordered food before it is delivered to guests.
  • Prepare and cook ala carte orders and for catered functions utilizing prep sheets and ensuring food is prepared per the event rider.
  • Ensure equipment is in proper working order by inspecting the kitchen area for cleanliness and needed repairs and reporting results to the Executive Chef.
  • Ensure staff members follow all applicable laws and ordinances by reviewing and enforcing proper food handling and preparation regulations.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) Food Handler's License or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
  • CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes working evenings, nights, weekends, and some holidays
