About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Ilforno Brands. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation and Menu Development
    • Collaborate with our Executive Chef to design and implement new menu items and specials
    • Direct food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen performance and productivity
  • Inventory Management and Supply Chain
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure optimal stock levels
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and products
  • Quality Control and Food Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety
    • Implement and maintain food safety protocols to prevent contamination and foodborne illness
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other departments to ensure seamless service
    • Collaborate with our Executive Chef and other culinary team members to develop and implement new ideas and initiatives

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, presentation, and flavor
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
