RAYUS Radiology is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Office Associate to join our team. As a Front Office Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and referring professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Registration: Greet and check-in patients scheduled for imaging services, register demographic information, and process payment plans and copays.
  • Phone Handling: Answer phones and handle calls in an efficient and friendly manner, field calls appropriately for center associates, and act as a liaison between technologists and patients waiting for exams.
  • Front Office Operations: Maintain the front office lobby area, order office supplies as needed, and maintain a supply of patient information sheets.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance, pre-certify exams with insurance companies, obtain insurance authorization, and handle release of information requests.
  • Scheduling: Arrange transportation, interpreters, and hotel accommodations for patients when necessary, enter and submit patient exam orders, verify orders match exam schedules, and schedule referrals and ensure proper authorizations are obtained.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with using computer systems and typing.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of customer service experience.
