Job Summary
We are seeking a strong and energetic Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing and driving both people and financial success in variable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and ensure that the core values of the company are encompassed in behavior at all times
- Work with the General Manager, sales team, and finance management team to meet monthly new, used, and F&I objectives
- Assist with inventory management for both new and used car departments
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel
- Communicate management policies and procedures to all Team Members' attitudes and build morale
- Hire, train, supervise, and monitor performance of sales associates and managers (new, used, and finance)
- Motivate, reward, and train employees
- Strong asset management skills required
- Responsible for making sure CIT list is resolved before deadlines
Requirements
- 5-8 years of automotive experience preferred
- Strong used car management skills preferred
- Proven track record and experience as a sales consultant, F&I Manager, and Used or New Sales Manager required
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
