Director, Global Marketing

The Director, Global Marketing is a key leadership role responsible for driving the development and execution of global marketing strategies across key markets for MG and CIDP indications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regional marketing teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Lead the development and execution of disease state strategies, messaging, and tactics to optimize market development.
  • Partner with market research and regions to validate insights and develop messaging and campaigns.
  • Identify commercial business risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them in partnership with regional leadership.
  • Lead the annual brand planning process and develop the global marketing budget to support various activities.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence, and develop across teams and global markets.
  • Proven success in developing marketing campaigns, messaging, and leading transformation through strategic initiatives.
  • Broad product-commercialization/marketing acumen including demand generation, market segmentation, digital marketing, strategy development, and competitor assessment.
  • Critical thinking, observation, analysis, and ability to articulate problems and identify solutions.
  • Relentless business and commercial acuity with the ability to recommend results-driven marketing channels.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
  • BS/BA degree (science or business degree preferred); MBA preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in marketing and/or relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Experience managing external agency partners and collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organization skills.
