Requirements:
  • Three to five years of proven financial analyst or similar experience.
  • Proven proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
Education:
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in accounting, economics, or statistics.
  • Achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Extensive personal contact with others, often of a personal or sensitive nature.
  • Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level.
  • Outside contacts are important; fostering sound relationships with other entities is necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services.
Other Skills:
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, credit unions, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
  • Ability to pivot and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent reporting, presenting, and communication skills.
