Job Summary

The Assistant General Manager Specialist plays a critical role in the success of our hotels, overseeing operational and financial responsibilities for a designated property. This position requires a strong leader who can drive results, foster a positive work environment, and embody the Marriott International brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume the role of Assistant General Manager at the assigned hotel, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and financial management.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the hotel's operating, financial, and sales and marketing procedures and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott's brand standards, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the guest experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve associate satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze financial reports, including budget, profit and loss statements, labor statistics, and distribution summaries.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to achieve hotel goals.
  • Represent the hotel in cluster revenue and sales and marketing meetings, ensuring alignment with regional and brand objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and Marriott's corporate policies and procedures.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of driving results and improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of Marriott's brand standards, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the hotel industry and market trends.
What We Offer

Marriott International offers a competitive salary range of $54,975 to $98,955 annually, as well as an annual bonus. Additionally, employees will accrue PTO balance for every hour worked and be eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
