Position Overview:
As a field-oriented Staff Engineer, you will embody ENGEO's commitment to continuous learning and a proactive mindset.
Your role will involve collaboration with seasoned Geotechnical Engineers and Geologists, Construction Services Representatives, peers, contractors, and clients to address challenges and ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:Conduct field geotechnical engineering observation for ENGEO projects under the mentorship of industry-leading geotechnical engineers and geologists. This includes exploratory logging, deep foundation construction, shoring installations, ground improvement, grading operations, and more.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, city inspectors, project managers (both locally and in other regional offices), and other internal team members.
Perform defined analytical and project administrative tasks with guidance and support from project management.
Transport and deliver samples for laboratory testing as required.
Utilize GIS technology and mobile devices to create precise and detailed documentation during testing and observation processes.
Gradually learn more complex, non-routine tasks with oversight from experienced engineers and geologists.
Candidate Requirements:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological Engineering, or Mining Engineering (mandatory)
Comfortable spending a majority of work hours outdoors at project sites
Personal vehicle for accessing job sites
Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and diverse environment
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being resourceful when working independently in the field
Willingness to work overtime
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1-3 years of professional or relevant internship/field experience
Aspirations to pursue a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering
Basic understanding of civil engineering principles and soil mechanics
Positive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and growth
