**Job Summary:** St. Xavier Home Care Services is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to provide high-quality services to children and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience in children's mental health, addiction, and/or foster care, and possess a strong understanding of psychosocial rehabilitation and caregiver support.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide PSR (Psychosocial Rehabilitation) services to assist children and their families in relearning, restoring, or readjusting skills, socialization, adjustment, community, and behavioral health barriers.
- Offer Planned Respite services to provide short-term relief for children and caregivers, enhancing the family's primary ability to support the child's functional, developmental, and behavioral health.
- Deliver Caregiver/Family Advocacy and Support Services to prevent problems in the community setting and during community transitions, providing training and assistance to families.
- Provide Prevocational Services to develop and teach general skills, such as communication, workplace conduct, and problem-solving, to prepare individuals for entry into the paid workforce.
- High school diploma with a minimum of two years' experience in children's mental health, addiction, and/or foster care, or a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of experience in human services working with children/youth.
**Hourly Rate:** $30.00 per hour
**Job Types:** Full-time, Part-time
