St. Xavier Home Care Services is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to provide high-quality services to children and their families.

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Specialist will provide Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), Planned Respite, Caregiver/Family Advocacy and Support Services, and Prevocational Services to children and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in children's mental health, addiction, and/or foster care, and will be able to work effectively with children, families, and caregivers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide PSR services to assist children and their families in relearning, restoring, or readjusting skills, socialization, adjustment, community, and behavioral health barriers.
  • Offer Planned Respite services to provide short-term relief for children and caregivers, enhancing the family's primary ability to support the child's functional, developmental, and behavioral health.
  • Provide Caregiver/Family Advocacy and Support Services to prevent problems in the community setting and during community transitions.
  • Offer Prevocational Services to develop and teach general skills, such as communication, workplace conduct, and problem-solving.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma with a minimum of two years' experience in children's mental health, addiction, and/or foster care.
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field.
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in education or a human services field.
  • One year of applicable experience in children's mental health, addiction, and/or foster care.
Salary and Benefits:

$30.00 per hour.
