Community Behavioral Health Specialist

The Jewish Board of Children and Family Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Community Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a Community Behavioral Health Specialist, you will provide community-based mental health services to children and families in need.
Our Community Behavioral Health treatment programs provide high-quality, evidence-based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve. We use a culturally competent, person-centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, instill hope, and strengthen resilience.
As a Community Behavioral Health Specialist, you will work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while celebrating the strengths and resilience of our communities. You will provide home-based family therapy sessions to clients, carry a caseload of 10 to 15 families, and participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide community-based mental health services to children and families in need
- Work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods
- Provide home-based family therapy sessions to clients

- Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and supervision
Requirements:
- LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Creative Arts Therapist or Licensed Psychoanalyst in New York State
- Prior experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (for Staten Island)
