U-Haul is seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving bodily injury and property damage claims involving U-Haul equipment and properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of bodily injury and property damage claims, gathering evidence and statements from claimants, witnesses, and other parties involved.
- Claim Evaluation: Evaluate the validity and extent of claims, determining coverage and liability.
- Claim Resolution: Work with claimants, witnesses, and other parties to resolve claims in a fair and timely manner.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with claimants, witnesses, and other parties throughout the claims process.
- Productivity: Meet productivity standards and maintain accurate records of claims activity.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in claims adjusting or a related field.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must obtain an Arizona adjuster's license within 30 days of employment.
