Sales Instructional Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Instructional Designer to join our team at Ibotta. As a key member of our sales enablement team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge training programs, onboarding materials, and education materials tailored to enhance the effectiveness of our sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Instructional Design & Development: Design, develop, and implement sales training materials and programs for new hires and existing sales team members using instructional design principles and methodologies.
- Create Sales Tools and Resources: Develop engaging content, including presentations, simulations, role-plays, and interactive activities, that address specific sales skills, processes, and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with sales leaders, marketing teams, and product managers to identify training gaps and requirements based on sales performance data, feedback, and business goals.
- Content Creation and Management: Ensure all training content is accurate, up-to-date, and reflects the latest product information, sales techniques, and industry trends.
- Learning Tools & Technology: Leverage various learning technologies and tools, such as HighSpot, Workday Learning, authoring tools like Rise 360, and virtual training platforms like Zoom, to deliver and track training programs.
- Maintain Knowledge Base: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure that sales tools and training materials remain relevant and effective.
- Project Management: Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality training materials and programs.
- Support & Facilitation: Provide support and guidance to sales teams and trainers in the use of training materials and tools. Facilitate training sessions and workshops as needed to ensure effective delivery.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in instructional design preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on sales or a related field.
- Skills: Deep understanding of instructional design models, adult learning principles, and best practices in training and development. Proficiency in instructional design and sales training platforms and tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a compelling manner. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
