Position Overview

Role Responsibilities
In this position, you will collaborate with the development team to gather insights on features slated for development, utilizing this information to create and execute product testing for ADP's cloud-based Human Resource solutions, ensuring customer usability prior to deployment. This role is vital in guaranteeing the release of functional products.

You will engage within an agile team utilizing Protractor/Selenium/JavaScript/Cucumber test automation frameworks to devise intricate test scenarios before integrating various systems. Your advocacy for essential modifications will enhance the end-user experience of our payroll solutions. To excel in this role, curiosity, persistence, and the ability to persuade are crucial. Familiarity with other HCM or payroll products will be beneficial.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will also employ your leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior QA professionals. You will take ownership of releases associated with your product features, responsible for developing plans, distributing tasks among the team, identifying challenges, and resolving them.

Work Environment
If you prefer a strictly 9-5 role, this may not be the position for you. Flexibility is essential, as testing may not always align with standard business hours. Daily Expectations
In a typical day, you will recognize that an agile QA environment demands adaptability. Working in two-week sprints, you will adhere to timelines and coding standards. Time constraints and the dynamic nature of work often necessitate a creative approach to our testing strategy. Your initial response? Embrace the challenge of creating and testing. You will develop test plans, test cases, and scenarios for large-scale, complex software applications, focusing on the verification and validation of applications from an end-user perspective.

Collaboration is key; you will communicate and work closely with technical developers and various stakeholders regarding your products. You will articulate clear and compelling justifications to persuade developers to implement product changes that benefit the end user. A commitment to continuous learning and problem-solving will be essential as challenges arise.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. You should have over 12 years of relevant experience in similar roles. Experience in an Agile environment testing iOS and Android native applications is preferred. Familiarity with Protractor or Angular, as well as development experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, Ruby, or C++, will enhance your comfort in this role.
