Parsippany, New Jersey, United States ADP - Automatic Data Processing Full time
Position Overview

ADP is seeking a Senior Lead Quality Engineer. Are you attentive to client requirements and eager to collaborate in identifying optimal solutions? Are you motivated by innovation and the opportunity to positively influence the lives of countless individuals daily? If so, this position may be ideal for you.

Role Responsibilities
In this capacity, you will partner with the development team to collect insights on features slated for development and utilize that information to construct and execute product testing for ADP's cloud-based Human Resource solutions, ensuring customer usability prior to deployment. This position is vital for guaranteeing the launch of functional products.

You will operate within an agile team employing Protractor/Selenium/JavaScript/Cucumber test automation frameworks to devise intricate test scenarios before integrating various systems. Your role will involve advocating for essential modifications to enhance the end-user experience of our payroll solutions. To excel in this position, you must be inquisitive, tenacious, and at times, persuasive. Familiarity with other HCM or payroll products will be beneficial.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will also utilize your leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior QA professionals. You will take ownership of the releases associated with your product features, responsible for developing plans, distributing tasks among the team, identifying challenges, and resolving them.

Work Environment
If you seek a strictly 9-5 role, this may not be the right fit for you. A dynamic pace should not deter you, and adaptability is essential, as testing does not always align with standard business hours. However, as part of our team, you will encounter exciting challenges, have opportunities for career advancement, and forge meaningful connections as we innovate for ADP and the industry.

Daily Expectations
In a typical day, you will recognize that an agile QA environment necessitates flexibility. Working in two-week sprints, you must adhere to timelines and coding standards. Time constraints and the fluid nature of work often require a creative approach to our testing strategy. Your initial thought? Embrace the challenge of creating and testing. You will develop test plans, test cases, and scenarios for large-scale, complex software applications, focusing on the verification and validation of applications from an end-user perspective.

Collaboration is key; you will communicate and work closely with technical developers and various stakeholders regarding your products. You will present clear and compelling arguments to persuade developers to implement product changes for the benefit of the end user. Continuous learning and a willingness to tackle challenges will be essential.

Qualifications
You should possess 12+ years of experience in relevant skills acquired in similar roles. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Experience in an Agile environment testing iOS and Android native applications, along with familiarity with Protractor or Angular Development, and proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, Ruby, or C++ will be advantageous.

Why You Will Enjoy Working Here
At ADP, we foster courageous collaboration. We encourage our associates to engage in difficult conversations, take ownership, and challenge each other's ideas to arrive at the best solutions. We are committed to delivering real user outcomes with strong judgment and a focus on client satisfaction and productivity.

Our environment is filled with curious learners. We align ourselves with other intelligent individuals, creating a space where we can grow and elevate one another. We encourage our associates to listen, remain agile, and learn from their experiences.

Acting as an owner and doer is part of our mission-driven culture. You will be empowered to tackle any challenge and solve complex problems, as no task is too small or too significant. We are hands-on and dedicated to mastering our craft.

Additionally, we believe in giving back to our community. We prioritize doing what is right for our clients and community, supporting our associates through ADP's Philanthropic Foundation. Our commitment to equality and equity drives us to create lasting change through our actions.

Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matched Retirement Savings, Wellness Programs, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Charitable Contribution Matching, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more.
