Parsippany, New Jersey, United States ADP - Automatic Data Processing Full time
Position Overview

ADP is seeking a Senior Lead Quality Engineer. Are you attuned to client requirements and eager to collaborate in finding optimal solutions? Are you motivated by innovation and the opportunity to positively influence the lives of countless individuals daily? If so, this position could be a great fit for you.

Role Responsibilities
In this capacity, you will partner with the development team to collect insights on features slated for development, utilizing this information to formulate and execute product testing for ADP's cloud-based Human Resource solutions, ensuring customer usability prior to deployment. This role is vital in guaranteeing the launch of user-friendly products.

You will operate within an agile team, employing Protractor/Selenium/JavaScript/Cucumber test automation frameworks to create intricate test scenarios prior to integrating various systems. Your responsibilities will include advocating for essential modifications to enhance the end-user experience of our payroll solutions. To excel in this role, you should be inquisitive, tenacious, and at times, persuasive. Familiarity with other HCM or payroll products will be beneficial.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will also utilize your leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior QA professionals. You will take ownership of the releases associated with your product features, responsible for developing plans, delegating tasks among the team, identifying challenges, and resolving them.

Work Environment
If you prefer a role that adheres strictly to a 9-5 schedule, this may not be the ideal position for you. Flexibility is essential, as testing may not always align with standard business hours. However, as part of our team, you will encounter exciting challenges, have opportunities for career advancement, and cultivate meaningful relationships as we innovate for ADP and the industry.

Daily Expectations
In a typical day, you will recognize that an agile QA environment necessitates adaptability. Working in two-week sprints, you must adhere to timelines and coding standards. Time constraints and the dynamic nature of work often require a creative approach to our testing strategy. Your initial thought? Embrace the challenge: Create & Test. You will develop test plans, test cases, and scenarios for large-scale, complex software applications, focusing on the verification and validation of applications from an end-user perspective.

Collaboration is key; you will communicate and work closely with technical developers and various stakeholders regarding your products. You will present clear and compelling arguments to persuade developers to implement product changes that benefit the end user. Continuous learning is essential, and you should be eager to explore new coding languages and problem-solving techniques.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Additionally, you should have over 12 years of relevant experience in similar roles, particularly in an Agile environment, testing iOS and Android native applications. Familiarity with Protractor or Angular, along with development experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, Ruby, or C++, will be advantageous.

Why You Will Enjoy Working Here
Experience courageous collaboration. Courage is demonstrated through the willingness to engage in difficult conversations, voice opinions, take ownership, and challenge each other's ideas to achieve the best outcomes. Deliver at an epic scale, focusing on real user results through sound judgment and instincts. We prioritize simplicity while enhancing client satisfaction and productivity.

Surround yourself with curious learners. We foster an environment where intelligent individuals collaborate, grow, and elevate one another. We encourage our associates to listen, remain agile, and learn from their experiences. Take ownership and act as a doer. Driven by our mission, you will be empowered to tackle challenges and resolve complex issues. No task is too small or too great for us; we are hands-on and committed to mastering our craft.

Give back to the community. We prioritize doing what is right for our clients and our community, and we actively contribute to the areas where we live and work. Support our associates during times of need through ADP's Philanthropic Foundation. Join a company dedicated to equality and equity, striving to create lasting change through our actions.
