Role Responsibilities
In this capacity, you will collaborate with the development team to gather insights on features slated for development, utilizing this information to construct and execute product testing for ADP's cloud-based Human Resource solutions, ensuring customer usability prior to deployment.
You will operate within an agile team employing Protractor/Selenium/JavaScript/Cucumber test automation frameworks to devise intricate test scenarios before integrating various systems.
Your responsibilities will include advocating for essential modifications to enhance the end-user experience of our payroll products. To excel in this role, curiosity, persistence, and at times, persuasive communication will be essential. Familiarity with other HCM or payroll products will be beneficial. You will leverage your leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior QA professionals.You will take ownership of releases associated with your product features, managing the development of plans, delegating tasks among the team, identifying challenges, and implementing solutions.

Daily ExpectationsHere’s what you can anticipate on a typical day: Understanding that an agile QA environment necessitates flexibility, you will work in two-week sprints, adhering to timelines and coding standards. Time constraints and the dynamic nature of work often require a creative approach to our testing strategy. Your initial thought? Embrace the challenge: Create & Test. You will develop test plans, test cases, and scenarios for large-scale, complex software applications, focusing on the verification and validation of applications from an end-user perspective. Collaboration is key, as you will communicate and coordinate with technical developers and various stakeholders for your products. You will articulate clear and compelling reasons to persuade developers to implement product changes for the benefit of the end user. Continuous learning and problem-solving will be integral to your role.
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
In addition to proven experience and technical expertise in the aforementioned products and working within an Agile environment testing iOS and Android native applications, familiarity with some of the following may enhance your comfort in this role:
- Experience with Protractor or Angular
- Development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, Ruby, C++
