As a Customer Support Coordinator, your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service within a dynamic environment. You will serve as a representative for our organization, ensuring high-quality assistance while collaborating closely with the Knowledge Center Manager. This position necessitates the acquisition and maintenance of a Secret security clearance due to the nature of our government contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to clients during urgent situations outside of standard operating hours.
- Engage in effective communication with personnel on duty around the clock.
- Manage incoming correspondence and maintain accurate records in databases.
- Coordinate with various departments to address and resolve inquiries.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of maritime credentialing and application procedures.
- Adapt work hours to align with operational schedules.
Focus Areas:
Medical Processing for Pre-Employment and CIVMAR
- Evaluate candidates' eligibility for medical evaluations and drug tests.
- Perform data entry and document results accurately.
- Assist in scheduling and processing medical appointments.
Processing Applications and Conditional Offers
- Analyze applicant information and qualifications thoroughly.
- Conduct calls regarding conditional offers and manage necessary documentation.
- Address information requests and maintain a comprehensive FAQ database.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must pass a government background investigation for security clearance.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Flexible and adaptable in team-oriented environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform computer work.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.
- Navigate office facilities efficiently.
