As a Customer Support Coordinator, your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service within a dynamic environment. You will serve as a representative for our organization, ensuring high-quality assistance while collaborating closely with the Knowledge Center Manager. This position necessitates the acquisition and maintenance of a Secret security clearance due to the nature of our government contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to clients during urgent situations outside of standard operating hours.
  • Engage in effective communication with personnel on duty around the clock.
  • Manage incoming correspondence and maintain accurate records in databases.
  • Coordinate with various departments to address and resolve inquiries.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of maritime credentialing and application procedures.
  • Adapt work hours to align with operational schedules.

Focus Areas:

Medical Processing for Pre-Employment and CIVMAR

  • Evaluate candidates' eligibility for medical evaluations and drug tests.
  • Perform data entry and document results accurately.
  • Assist in scheduling and processing medical appointments.

Processing Applications and Conditional Offers

  • Analyze applicant information and qualifications thoroughly.
  • Conduct calls regarding conditional offers and manage necessary documentation.
  • Address information requests and maintain a comprehensive FAQ database.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must pass a government background investigation for security clearance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word is mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable in team-oriented environments.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform computer work.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.
