About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Room Supervisor to join our team at Hammock Dunes. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service and a memorable experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and train a team of food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Service Excellence: Ensure a high standard of appearance, hospitality, and service in all dining areas, including cleanliness and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Event Management: Lead event setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring timely and efficient execution of events.
  • Customer Service: Respond to member and guest complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Training and Development: Assist with staff training, including new hire orientation and ongoing development programs.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Food and Beverage Manager, Clubhouse Manager, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a supervisor or management role in a private club or fine dining environment is highly recommended.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Above-average knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine, as well as standard drink recipes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.
  • Language Skills: Must speak, write, and read English fluently, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Previous experience in a supervisor or management role in a private club or fine dining environment is highly recommended.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, inventory management software, and other relevant technologies is an asset.
