**Job Summary**

Crab's Claw Oceanfront Caribbean Seafood Restaurant is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Table Management: Set up the dining room, arrange tables, and manage reservations to maximize guest capacity.
  • Reservation Coordination: Handle reservations, table allocations, and walk-in dining service to ensure efficient use of space.
  • Guest Communication: Answer phones, take to-go orders, and respond to guest inquiries about the menu and food allergies.
  • Service Coordination: Work closely with servers and bus persons to ensure impeccable guest service and manage activities to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Kitchen Liaison: Collaborate with chefs to act as a liaison between guests and the kitchen, ensuring timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Peak Season Performance: Demonstrate ability to work during our busiest days and times, including weekends and holidays.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational, multitasking, and self-starting skills to manage a busy waitlist and adjust reservations to accommodate walk-ins and reservations.
  • Restaurant Experience: Must have prior experience working in a restaurant or hotel setting.
