About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Parish Communications Specialist at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Parish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing various communication strategies to engage with our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan that includes social media, email marketing, and website content management.
  • Create engaging content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Design and edit visual materials for our parish newsletter and website.
  • Collaborate with our staff and volunteers to ensure accurate and timely communication with our community.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of our communication efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in communication and technology.

The ideal candidate will have experience in social media management, content creation, and website development. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organizational and analytical skills.

Requirements
  • Must be a practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church.
  • Experience in social media management, content creation, and website development.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
