Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Communications Specialist to join our team at National Capitol Contracting LLC in Washington, D.C.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to provide top-notch support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the network team to ensure seamless campus layer 2 data network operations and Avaya VoIP system functionality.
  • Install, test, and terminate telecommunications CAT 5E/6 cabling to support voice, video, and data systems.
  • Perform daily adds, moves, and changes to support installations and maintenance.
  • Analyze equipment issues using various test tools and take corrective action to resolve problems.
  • Process user-initiated work orders through eBusiness and ServiceNow tickets.
Requirements
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Associates Degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Ethernet MHz testing equipment, and power tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
