Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training: Provide initial and ongoing training to staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Meet with Payment Analysis Manager - East regularly to effectively communicate and resolve issues, set and prioritize goals, and improve processes.
  • Staff Support and Development: Assist with staff communication, providing updates, resolving issues, setting goals, and maintaining standards.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Assist with assuring overpayments and collections are researched and processed with accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Help resolve issues identified for process improvement as identified by the refund or variance staff.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Review and/or create daily, weekly, and monthly reports as assigned.
  • Productivity and Performance: Monitor daily productivity of each Refund/Variance Analyst to assure defined goals and objectives of the department are met.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience required.
  • Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), customer-focused, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, strong 10-key data entry, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
