Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee staff assigned to perform periodic asset reviews, reserve and construction draw reviews, and other credit functions related to asset management.
  • Determine servicing requirements and key requirements as needed.
  • Oversee asset management specific training for new hires and contribute to the design of content for continued education and required training hours for all asset management personnel.
  • Oversee task allocation and staffing utilization for all client dedicated and pooled asset management personnel to ensure equitable distribution of labor while maintaining a high level of quality deliverables to clients.
  • Ensure tasks assigned to asset management personnel are completed timely and adhere to all internal control requirements, audit standards, and client requirements.
  • Ensure asset management personnel receive regular feedback on performance, goal achievement, and professional development.
  • Possess Excel skills sufficient to perform vlookup, pivot, and other functions to understand and reconcile data.
  • Demonstrate and encourage continuous process evaluation to identify ways to improve efficiency, productivity, and accuracy. Draft related processes and procedures as needed.
  • Relationship management with all clients and external parties. Manage client expectations, serve as primary point of contact for conflict resolution, process clarification, and personnel issues; escalate to senior leadership where appropriate.
  • Identify and understand client's scope of work and how SAM can add value to the client's business strategies.
  • Ability to oversee all aspects of fieldwork as well as subject property's competitive position and provide feedback to clients on findings and conclusions.
  • Analyze and interpret legal documents associated with asset management, including loan documents and servicing agreements.
  • Represent SitusAMC in resolving non-compliant issues through verbal and written communication with both internal and external parties.
  • Perform QC on completed work products and communicate feedback as needed.
  • Stay abreast of changes in industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a preferred field of study; Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an SVP level role or external equivalent.
  • Proven experience in real estate, REO resolutions, and workout strategies.
  • Thorough understanding of real estate valuation methodology, analyzing income and expense rates, property valuation, and leases for all commercial property types.
  • Proven experience with tenant and borrower level credit overviews.
  • High comfort level with use of various industry-related software systems, including Argus advanced functionality.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral).
  • Strong analytical abilities, good judgment, strategic, and process thinking.

What We Offer

SitusAMC offers a competitive salary range of $120,000.00 - $280,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility, and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full-time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and 401K; in each case, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
