Payment Review Specialist

The Payment Review Specialist is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections activity for assigned billable parties. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, patients, and third-party payors.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records
- Conduct thorough reviews of billing and collections activity to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve billing and collections efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing and collections issues
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and patients
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in billing and collections, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
