Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
  • Patient Care: Oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring that all patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital clinical experience, with previous supervisor experience preferred
  • Certifications/License: Registered Nurse in Kansas or multi-state compact license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, STABLE
