Job Description:

Amberwell Health is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care services in a clinic setting.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Patient Intake: Obtain and verify patient health history, gathering relevant health data through physical assessments and biological samples.
  • Clinical Services: Assist patients in collaboration with the provider and other healthcare team members with all clinical services available at the clinic, including injecting and vaccinations, EKG's, and CLIA waived lab testing.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and interactions in the medical record.
  • Coordination: Coordinate and manage patient care, including tracking testing and referrals, and ensuring all patient information is accurately documented.
  • Advocacy: Serve as a patient advocate, staying informed of insurance requirements and guidelines for patient care.


Requirements:


  • Education: Completion of an accredited Vocational/Technical Nursing Program.
  • Licensure: Unencumbered active Kansas nursing license.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
