Job Summary:

The Nursing Supervisor at Amberwell Health Hiawatha is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital, ensuring safe and efficient patient care. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage staff and coordinate activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff and coordinate activities to ensure efficient patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Investigate and report complaints from patients and staff
  • Monitor and facilitate patient flow in and out of the hospital
  • Provide guidance and advice to clinical staff

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hospital clinical experience
  • Registered Nurse in Kansas or multi-state compact license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, STABLE certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working in an acute care setting
  • Previous supervisor experience
