Hospitalist Program Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Administrator to oversee the Hospitalist Program operations at Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional medical care to patients, and we believe that every individual deserves access to high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Hospitalist Program operations staff, including Navigators and Care Team Associates, to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to drive quality, patient satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and Senior Leadership to prepare and implement budgets, recommending funding based on knowledge of policies, costs, and operating practices.
- Represent the program at public and professional meetings and conferences, promoting the provision of high-quality healthcare services.
- Participate in the development and implementation of systems and processes that support program operations, ensuring effective cross-functional services with various departments.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations or program administration.
- 1+ years of supervisory experience.
- Solid working knowledge of Medicare Advantage quality operations and state and federal laws relating to Medicare.
- Ability and willingness to travel, both locally and non-locally, as determined by business need.
- Exceptional analytical and data representation expertise.
