As a Business Development Consultant, your responsibilities will include marketing and selling our Growth by Design (GBD), Credit Union Vendor Management (CUVM), and Affiliates Consolidated Services (ACS) offerings to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Your role will involve crafting and implementing a growth strategy, coordinating events to promote GBD, CUVM, and ACS products and services. Acting as both a process expert and a sales and marketing consultant for new and existing clients, you will actively seek out and recruit new clients and markets, employing lead generation and innovative sales techniques to broaden business outreach and meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales objectives through effective networking. Responsibilities include assisting clients in identifying their needs, developing solutions from ACS offerings, and presenting tailored proposals. This will require securing new contracts and renewing existing ones, coordinating delivery schedules, and managing the details necessary for successful sales closures. Additionally, you will stay updated on all GBD, CUVM, and ACS products and services, as well as broader industry trends, while maintaining detailed records of all activities. This includes documentation, tracking issues to identify trends, and updating Salesforce with relevant credit union information, such as product specifics, key contacts, and visit notes. Regular written and verbal status reports to management will be essential to support the development of new or improved products and services. Your contributions will be vital in researching and resolving customer inquiries and needs, culminating in well-informed recommendations.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred.
  2. 2-5 years of proven sales experience with a successful track record.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

The standard work schedule for the Business Development Consultant position is Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend commitments. Travel arrangements may include both airline and car transportation, and a valid driver's license is mandatory. The offered salary for this position is $55,000 or more, based on experience.
