Position Overview

The NEEDS Center is seeking a dedicated Assistant Clinical Director/BCBA to oversee the quality of our residential and center-based programs aimed at supporting adults with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the Autism Spectrum. This is a full-time role within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and evaluate personalized treatment and behavior support plans for your assigned clients.
  • Perform initial and ongoing evaluations and prepare detailed progress reports.
  • Offer guidance, support, and constructive feedback to Direct Support staff in managing challenging behaviors and teaching alternative behaviors.
  • Conduct Functional Assessments and Functional Analyses for all identified challenging behaviors.
  • Assess program effectiveness, provide recommendations, oversee data collection, and track progress.
Required Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Current BCBA Certification/License is mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a setting that applies the principles of applied behavior analysis.
  • Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior support plans, creating program materials, and supervising direct services.
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Proficiency in both Macintosh and PC environments, including familiarity with software such as Excel and Word.
