BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSTWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This role as a Business Process Analyst involves facilitating the identification of process requirements based on established business objectives.

The individual will work collaboratively with technology partners to design effective information architecture and processes.

Regular project status updates will be communicated as necessary, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.

Accessing and interpreting data to create analytical models for management is a key responsibility.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and maintain project tracking systems, including status updates for stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze current processes, recommending enhancements, modernization, or automation as needed.
  • Collaborate with business lines and technology teams to propose future state solutions.
  • Become the subject matter expert in business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Participate in process design and implementation teams focused on process improvement initiatives.
  • Take ownership of business readiness activities, diagnosing opportunities for process enhancements and developing solutions utilizing process excellence principles.
  • Support the delivery of information to aid both tactical and strategic programs.
  • Design scalable business systems and assist in their implementation.
  • Establish tracking metrics and documentation standards for adoption and auditing purposes.
  • Coordinate access to data and identify technical resources for project support.
  • Proactively troubleshoot to find optimal solutions aligned with the strategic direction of the division.
Must-Have
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a banking operations environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data architecture, governance, and writing business/system requirements and business/finance analysis.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • Excellent process management and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior banking experience with extensive knowledge of process analysis and design.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile methodology is preferred.
  • Proficient in PC computing environments, with experience in database/data warehouses and reporting/query tools such as Brio, MS Query, MS Access, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and MS Access.
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to independently evaluate business systems needs and recommend and implement solutions.
  • Experience working on high-priority projects with complex business problems.
  • Ability to analyze diverse problems where data evaluation requires consideration of identifiable factors.
  • Exhibit judgment requiring in-depth knowledge using generally defined practices and policies for selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Compensation

Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
