WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Business Process Analyst will play a crucial role in identifying and articulating process requirements driven by specific business objectives.

This position involves collaboration with technology partners to design effective information architectures and processes.

The analyst will provide timely project status updates as necessary and must possess the ability to access and interpret data to create analytical models for management review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project tracking systems, including status updates for stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze current state processes, recommending enhancements, modernization, or automation as needed.
  • Collaborate with business lines and technology teams to propose future state improvements.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Participate in process design and implementation teams focused on process improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee business readiness activities and diagnose opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Utilize principles of process excellence and related tools to develop and implement solutions.
  • Design scalable business systems and support their implementation.
  • Establish tracking metrics and documentation standards for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Coordinate access to data and identify technical resources to support project needs.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and provide optimal solutions aligned with the strategic direction of the division.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a banking operations environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data architecture, governance, and in writing business or system requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • Excellent process management and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior banking experience with extensive knowledge of process analysis and design.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology is preferred.
  • Proficient in PC computing environments, with experience in database/data warehouses and reporting/query tools.
  • Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and MS Access.
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

This role requires independent evaluation of business systems needs and the ability to recommend and implement effective solutions. The analyst will work on high-priority projects where business challenges are complex and unique, applying judgment and knowledge to select appropriate methods and techniques for problem-solving.

Compensation:

Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
