Position Overview

The Strategy & Transformation team is essential in steering the strategic vision and execution of all Banking & Investment Service operations.

Role Responsibilities

The Business Strategy Analyst will:

  • Facilitate the development of process requirements based on established business objectives.
  • Engage in due diligence discussions with stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business strategies, products, and services, aiming to identify and implement process enhancements.
  • Create both written and visual representations of business requirements and document current and future state process flows for projects of moderate to high complexity.
  • Analyze data to generate insights that support management decision-making.
Key Duties

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain project tracking, including status updates for stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze existing processes, recommending improvements, modernization, or automation.
  • Collaborate with business lines and technology teams to propose future state solutions.
  • Become the subject matter expert in business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Participate in process design and project implementation teams focused on process improvement.
  • Oversee business readiness activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and develop solutions using process excellence principles and tools.
  • Support the delivery of information to assist in tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Design scalable business systems and support their implementation.
  • Establish tracking metrics and documentation standards for adoption and auditing purposes.
  • Proactively troubleshoot to find optimal solutions aligned with the division's strategic direction.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a banking operations environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, governance, and writing business/system requirements along with business/finance analysis.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects.
Skills and Knowledge

Essential skills include:

  • Excellent process management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior banking experience with extensive knowledge of process analysis and design.
  • Thorough understanding of project management practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and MS Visio.
  • Working knowledge of financial and data analysis techniques.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to independently assess business systems needs and recommend effective solutions.

Compensation

The starting base salary ranges from $92,114 to $156,880 per year, with exact compensation varying based on skills, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
