Job Summary:


The Transportation Operations Supervisor will oversee a team of drivers, messengers, and security personnel engaged in Cash in Transit operations. This role is crucial in ensuring accountability and safeguarding all assets while prioritizing the daily operational workflow. The Supervisor will assist management in maintaining a secure, safe, and efficient environment within the transportation facility.


This position operates in a secured environment and requires strict enforcement of protocols to protect Brink's premises and its clientele, as well as ensuring the safety of individuals on-site.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to Cash in Transit personnel.
  • Manage daily operations, including route efficiency, scheduling, and branch operations.
  • Ensure a safe and secure working environment, prioritizing the safety of all employees.
  • Deliver ongoing coaching and skill enhancement to team members.
  • Utilize systems and process improvements to foster continuous operational enhancements.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Implement security measures to protect inventory and reduce operational losses.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the role.
  • Support management in achieving branch objectives.
  • Participate in cross-training and perform additional duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in operations within the transportation or logistics sector.
  • Meet all relevant Department of Transportation criteria.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid firearms permit or the ability to meet firearms licensing requirements.
  • Hold a valid guard card or the capability to obtain necessary licenses.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an armored vehicle operator.
  • Familiarity with route analysis and logistics management.
  • Understanding of lean methodologies and process improvement.
  • Experience in budgeting and planning.
  • Bachelor's Degree is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
