Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team at PATH People Acting To Help, Inc. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicle fleet and providing exceptional support to our programs and departments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Scheduling and Maintenance

Assist in scheduling vehicles for maximum use, monitoring mileage, repairs, and updating the transportation tracking system as needed.

Vehicle Preparation

Ensure that proper first aid kits and blankets are contained in each vehicle, request supplies as needed.

Incident Reporting

Support the Program Supervisor with reporting all incidents/accidents to the insurance company and COO.

Vehicle Registration and Documentation

Ensure that all vehicles are properly registered and contain the appropriate documentation for registration and insurance.

Handicap Vehicle Compliance

Ensure that handicap vehicles have the appropriate plates.

Daily Maintenance Checks

Ensure daily maintenance check lists are completed for each vehicle.

Mail Pickup and Distribution

Serve as a backup for daily mail pick-up from all satellite locations.

Supervisory Support

Able to perform supervisory duties when the Program Supervisor is not available.

Driver Responsibilities
  1. Vehicle Support

Support PATH Vehicle Fleet as needed.

Log Keeping

Complete vehicles log each run.

Key Control and Maintenance

Maintain key control, keep track of spare keys for the entire fleet. A must for emergencies reason.

Vehicle Inspections

Perform maintenance and safety checks on vehicles each morning and afternoon before leaving the parking lot. Inform Program Supervisor of needed repairs arranging and transport for vehicle maintenance.

Insurance and Registration

Distribution of insurance and registration for vehicle fleet and ensuring renewals are processed timely before expiration.

Vehicle Condition and Reporting

Ensure vehicles are cleaned and monitor the vehicle's condition and reporting back any unusual sightings.

Mail Pickup and Distribution

Provide mail pickup and distribution from internal mailroom at 1919 and 8220 locations.

CEO and Program Support

Provide transportation support to CEO as needed.

Program and Department Support

Provide transportation support as needed to programs/departments.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED. Experienced in commercial transport preferred and ability to use a computer is a must.

Physical Demands

May require some lifting, standing frequently, and walking often to support the needs of the position.
