Our mission is to integrate seamlessly into the Commercial Lines team, collaborating with Advisors, Directors of Risk Management, and Client Service Specialists to provide exceptional service to our commercial clientele. This role involves cultivating professional relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and agency staff to ensure account maintenance and a positive work atmosphere.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately maintain client records within the Agency Management System, ensuring proper documentation and communication in line with company workflows and best practices.
- Draft professional correspondence through various channels, including letters and emails.
- Perform accounting functions such as invoicing and premium allocation as necessary.
- Oversee claims in accordance with agency procedures, providing timely updates and guidance to clients.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients, offering information and support to meet company objectives.
- Participate in client meetings alongside Advisors or Directors of Risk Management as needed.
- Assist team members in addressing client inquiries and processing requests.
- Manage daily operations of client accounts, including policy reviews, updates, contract evaluations, and renewal documentation.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely service and follow-up.
- Advise clients on coverage options and recommend additional insurance solutions as required.
- Proactively seek referrals from existing clients to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships with insurance partners, staying informed about carrier requirements.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the firm and its processes, escalating issues to leadership as necessary.
- Exhibit strong presentation skills through effective verbal and written communication.
- Possess intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software as needed.
- Demonstrate alignment with the firm's core values and corporate culture.
- Maintain a Texas Property and Casualty License as mandated by the State Department of Insurance, or be willing to obtain required licenses within the initial employment period.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Commercial Insurance Account Manager capacity.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
