Director of Sales & Marketing

This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, building client relationships, and leading the sales team at Embassy Suites Blue Ash.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's objectives, identifying new business opportunities and market trends to maximize revenue.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team, providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure team members meet or exceed targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners, conducting regular client visits and participating in networking events to promote the hotel portfolio.
  • Sales Performance and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the Regional Director of Sales, and develop and manage the sales budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support of sales initiatives, participating in the development of promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth, staying informed about competitor activities and industry developments.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing positions is required for this role.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing sales targets is essential.
  • Strong capabilities in leadership and team management are a must.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required for effective client interactions.
  • Proficiency in hotel management operations is a critical competency for this position.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary and will be evaluated through an assessment process.
  • Previous experience in hotel management and sales is preferred.
