Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of operational excellence in the medical device industry. This role is critical to ensuring the efficiency, quality, and scalability of our operations to support our rapid growth and innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the company's operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, including FDA and ISO certifications.
  • Supply Chain Management: Optimize the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including R&D, Sales, and Marketing, to support new product development and market expansion.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field required. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the medical device industry.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of FDA regulations (21 CFR 820), ISO standards, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build, lead and inspire teams, drive change, and achieve results.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
