Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple accounting functions and will work closely with the practice accounting team to ensure proper accounting, revenue recognition, and reporting.

About the Role

This is a high growth role with significant visibility to the leadership team. The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare experience and strong technical accounting knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the practice accounting team to ensure proper accounting, revenue recognition, and reporting at each of the Company's practices
  • Oversee and manage the month-end close process
  • Produce monthly reports for leadership in collaboration with FP&A
  • Maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP
  • Prepare and review ad-hoc internal and external financial reporting and analysis
  • Coordinate external audits with independent accounting firms
  • Develop, document, implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Research complex accounting issues and document technical accounting position papers
  • Identify areas of process improvement, recommend changes, and execute improvements
Requirements
  • Accounting degree (with graduate degree preferred)
  • 2-5+ years of public accounting experience with a Big 4 or large regional firm
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB, PCAOB, and SEC regulations
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Active CPA license or working toward CPA license required
