Director of Financial Reporting

Overview:

i4 Search Group Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Director of Financial Reporting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and evolution of our overall strategy for financial operations.

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Job Description:

The Director of Financial Reporting position involves assisting key Senior Executive team members and the Finance Team with processes and controls, including month-end close, financial ad hoc analysis, stat reporting, and additional tasks. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete and review month end processes for applicable ledgers, including journal entry review and/or account reconciliations.
  • Prepare both routine and ad hoc detailed analytical reviews and reports.
  • Prepare complex pro forma financial analyses and models contractual payment methodologies.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and invoicing for external customers.
  • Assist in the Accounting Department operational process decisions and any automation for HealthTrust.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Assist in the design and standardization reporting related to various operational metrics and financial information.
  • Assist in the coordination of audit activities and responses to audit reports performed by internal and external auditors.
  • Prepare monthly operational information.
  • Evolving process flows and policies and procedures for the organization's Finance operations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of accounting and regulatory requirements related to Healthcare Institutions and Group Purchasing Organizations.
  • Design and maintain policies and procedures (internal controls) to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected.
  • Provides technical accounting GAAP guidance and support to all company entities. At times, this may include involvement in due diligence and other activities surrounding acquisitions/dispositions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
  • Minimum 7 years accounting/auditing/management experience.
  • Experience in public accounting and/or financial auditing preferred.
  • CPA considered a plus.
