Job Overview:
SHR Talent is partnering with a high-growth company in Nashville, TN to find a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing accounting functions and providing monthly operating information. This role offers the opportunity to develop skills in an active, collaborative, and growing environment with daily exposure to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to research complex issues. They should also have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper accounting, revenue recognition, and reporting
  • Oversee and manage the month-end close process
  • Work with Financial Planning & Analysis to produce monthly operating reports
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Prepare and review ad-hoc internal and external financial reporting and analysis
  • Coordinate external audits

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Active CPA license or working towards CPA license required
  • 0-4+ years of accounting experience
  • Proven knowledge of GAAP, FASB, PCAOB, and SEC regulations
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
