Job Summary

The Dar Group is seeking a highly skilled Water Engineer to join our team in the Water Sector. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for supporting the design and planning of complex and innovative wastewater and stormwater conveyance systems as part of the Potomac Interceptor Program.

Responsibilities
  • Engineering design and consulting for complex assignments, including hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, utility plans, technical specifications, and cost estimating.
  • Manage preparation of design and construction documents for selected sites as part of a large, sewer rehabilitation project.
  • Participate in assignments as a member of a team, sometimes in a lead role in particular areas of expertise, including peer mentorship of design and consulting staff.
  • Regular meeting and presentation of project deliverables to clients.
Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is required. MS degree preferred with 5+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering consulting performing studies, design and construction services for municipal clients.
  • Demonstrated experience developing designs and construction contract documents for complex infrastructure projects.
  • PE license is required. Must reciprocate license in DC.
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
  • Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges.
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
