Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Tejas Urgent Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch customer service to patients and staff
  • Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and medical procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Perform lab and equipment checks for quality assurance
  • Collaborate with front desk and providers to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor supply levels and report shortages
  • Document incidents and report to Clinic Manager and Provider on duty
Requirements:
  • CMA Certificate
  • Minimum 1 year emergency room experience or comparable clinical experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced urgent care environment
