Job Title: Certified Medication Aide

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Skilled Care of Mexia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and company policies.
  • Monitor residents for adverse reactions to medications and report any concerns to the Charge Nurse.
  • Record all medication administration accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the medication cart and environment.
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy of residents at all times.
  • Observe and adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current Medication Administration certification.
  • Excellent communication and self-discipline skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
