Certified Medication Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Skilled Care of Mexia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and company policies.
- Monitor residents for adverse reactions to medications and report any concerns to the Charge Nurse.
- Record all medication administration accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain the security and integrity of the medication cart and environment.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of residents at all times.
- Observe and adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
- Current Medication Administration certification.
- Excellent communication and self-discipline skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
