Job Title: Registered Therapist II

Join the Health and Human Services Commission team as a Registered Therapist II and contribute to the well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Therapist II to work in our state-supported living centers. As a member of our team, you will provide professional therapy services to individuals with complex needs, working under the supervision of licensed therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and implementation of therapy treatment programs
  • Perform designated therapy treatments under the direction of licensed therapists
  • Assist staff therapists in initial and periodic evaluations
  • Supervise therapy activities and staff during the absence of licensed therapists
  • Complete accurate documentation and maintain records
  • Assist in the fabrication and maintenance of assistive equipment
  • Participate in conferences for treatment planning and quality assurance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
