Job Summary

Pittock Mansion Society is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Facilities and Operations to join our team. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our historic house museum, including facilities management, IT, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Oversee all aspects of building operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations. Ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and meet the needs of our visitors and staff.
  • IT and Administrative Tasks: Manage our IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Provide administrative support to our staff, including managing our Point of Sale (POS) system and conducting inventory.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our senior management team, finance department, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in facilities and operations management, preferably in a museum or historic site environment.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of senior leadership experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong IT proficiency and systems management skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work onsite with availability for some weekend work.
