  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Develop and direct high-quality program engagement strategies to support regional and association goals.
    • Establish plans for the expansion of programs and services, aligning with overall YMCA objectives.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships
    • Represent and promote the YMCA in the local community through strategic partnerships and collaborations.
    • Develop and manage relationships with community stakeholders, businesses, and government agencies.
  • Financial Management and Development
    • Manage a Chairman's Round Table portfolio of prospective donors.
    • Develop and monitor operating budgets using the principles of the 'cost-per-unit' model.
  • Operational Effectiveness
    • Ensure the culture and mission of the YMCA are reflected in programs and services.
    • Build bridges within the community to ensure access to the YMCA for all segments of society.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • YMCA Multi-Team Leader certification preferred.
  • At least six years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency.
  • A proven record of successful leadership in staff and volunteer development, fiscal management, philanthropic development, and community development.
  • Experience with multi-site leadership and oversight.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to acquire within 30 days of employment.
